Corbec at 2024 TAC Conference

Corbec was honored to be a premier sponsor at the 2024 TAC Conference & Exhibition on Technology and Transformation, held September 22-25 in Vancouver.

This year’s conference, Canada’s largest national transportation event, welcomed over 1,700 industry professionals to explore the future of transportation and infrastructure.

In a trend-setting announcement, Corbec introduced the publishing with the CSA, the first-ever Environmental Product Declarations. The first in Canada for Galvanized Steel and the first in North America for Galvanized Rebar. EPDs are critical in assessing the environmental footprint of materials, assisting in making informed decisions and effects the scope for considerations and design for sustainable construction projects.

At booth #209, Corbec engaged with attendees to discuss innovations in bridge construction and galvanizing solutions. It was a pleasure to share our expertise and updates on galvanized steel.

Corbec also participated in the Structures Committee Meeting, where Hellen Christodoulou delivered an insightful presentation on Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

We were also grateful to attend the President’s Reception and the evening hosted by Parsons Corporation, where we connected with peers and colleagues, including Sarah Wells and Sylvain Montminy.
