Industry needs to take voluntary initiatives that aim to encourage and assist the construction industry to build momentum through guidance and leadership. At Corbec, educating and supporting the design community is a core value. So, rather than relying on the use of industry standards that are not really plant specific, Corbec took the leadership as the first coating supplier in North America to create its own plant specific EPD’s.

The REM Light Rail- Phase (I) project recently won 2 major distinctions. The project received the highest honor, as the 2024 AGA (American Galvanizers Association) Award for the “Most Distinguished Project”. In addition, it was the winning project in the “Engineering” Category and the recipient of an Award of Excellence in Steel Construction conferred by the CISC (The Canadian Institute of Steel Construction).

Corbec's annual reunion of corporate staff was an opportunity to share the corporate strategies, direction, goals, and objectives, to be inspired by one another; a nice occasion to meet and spend some valuable time together.
